In summary:
There are many changes, we have made adaptations to accommodate new policies and to maintain the quality of the classes. Equally, I am going to remain at the NHS as a part time Physiotherapist which means that unfortunately, there are some classes that have not been able to be renewed. We are very sorry for any disappointment but please do join us in alternative classes if you can. You will be warmly welcomed.
Additionally, the Help for Heroes community class sadly ceased due to the Recovery Centre in Plymouth being closed. However the positive news is that as volunteers Gilly and I are proud to have become the National Pilates instructors for the military charity. We have supported and taught the much-admired military veterans weekly on Zoom since the first Lockdown, of which we will continue to do so on Fridays at 1.15pm.
Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Gilly for her incredible efforts since March 2020. Gilly and I were bubbled up from the start with my family being in Birmingham and our bond as friends and colleagues has been seriously cemented. I have been so lucky to have found such a brilliant friend and instructor. I would equally like to thank Emma for all her invaluable dedication in supporting us from day one and Lynn for being a ray of sunshine.
Most importantly, thank you, for sticking by us and helping us to negotiate our way around each day; with humour, fun and a sprinkle of bonkers.
But it’s time to get back into the community, your health has never been more relevant and Pilates is all about respiratory and breathing efficiently so let’s get strong together.
